Day 2: Breakfast. Panoramic city tour of Sofia – Cathedral “St. Alexander Nevski”, archeological and historical museum, churches, national gallery. Shopping and time for leisure. At the evening – dinner in restaurant with national dishes and dances. Overnight.
The capital of Bulgaria - Sofia is unique with the 7000 years old history The first name of the city was Serdica, after that Sredetz , Triaditza and finally Sofia. Its a beautiful city with interesting arhitecture, charming people and nice clubs.
Time for shoping. Dinner in typical bulgarian restaurant with national dishes, dances and music.
Day 3: Breakfast. Transfer by bus to Rila monastery.Lunch in boxes – tour and lectures.
Rila Monastery - the most impressive monument from the Bugarian National Revival period rises amidst the rugged beauty of the Rila Mountain, just 120 km from Sofia.
Having survived the times with the self-confidence of the most zealous guard of the Bulgarian spirit and language, it still fascinates present-day visitor with the pure and harmonious line of the buildings' exquisite colonnades, arches and vaults, spacious rooms richly decorated with murals and fretwork.
Transfer to Sofia. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Breakfast. Transfer to Koprivshtitza. City tour. Dinner and overnight in rural homes.
Koprivshtitza is one of the most charming small Bulgarian towns, still preserving the atmosphere of the National Revival period, is huddled in the mountain folds 111 km east of Sofia. The town is a unique combination of a legendary history and fascinating present. No other Bulgarian museum town boasts such a large number of houses and monuments - 383 in all, most of which have been restored to their original appearance. A unique collection of ethnographical treasures, old weapons, National Revival works of art, fine fretwork, household weaves and embroidery, national costumes and typical Bulgarian jewellery has also been preserved. It was here that the first bullet of the April Uprising against the Ottoman oppressors was fired in 1876. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 5: Breakfast. Visit to the museum, church and typical
bulgarian rural homes. Dinner in typical bulgarian restaurant
special dishies and wines. Overnight.
Day 6: Breakfast. Transfer to Etropole, a nice town. We are going
to visit the monastery of Etropole. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 7: Breakfast. Transfer to Sofia. Day for leisure and shopping.
Dinner. Sofia bynight – club „Dali“ with interesting latino
programme. The best place for dancing.Overnight.
Day 8: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.
